Three people have been rushed to hospital after a single-vehicle crash east of Woodstock.
The Ontario Provincial Police say on Friday around 2pm, a Chevrolet car travelling east on Township Rd. 2 in Blandford Blenheim Township, left the road and struck a tree in a southeast ditch. The female driver and two female passengers all had to be extricated from the vehicle.
The three occupants were taken to an area hospital by EMS to be treated for serious injuries.
OPP Technical Collision Investigators attended the scene to assist with the investigation, but the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Township Rd. 2 was closed for several hours between Blandford Rd. and County Rd. 22 as a result of the crash. The roadway was reopened just after 6pm.
