Work at a Komoka construction site has been halted after unidentified remains were discovered during excavation work.
The Ontario Provincial Police say on Wednesday around 2:30pm, officers were called the construction site in the area of Oxbow Dr. and Valleyview Dr.
Police say all construction work has been postponed until the remains have been examined.
The type and origin of the remains is currently unknown and police say the investigation is in its early stages.
No further information has been released at this time.
