Lightning-Express Playoff Schedule Set

The schedule for the NBLC's Central Division final series has been set.

The London Lightning and the Windsor Express will meet in a best-of-seven series that begins Friday night in London.

It's the second year in a row the two teams have met for the Central Division crown.

The Lightning have home-court advantage by virtue of their NBLC-leading regular season record of 35-8. The Express finished the season with 25 wins and eight losses, good enough for second place in the Central Division.

Game 2 of the series in Sunday afternoon at Budweiser Gardens, before the series shifts to Windsor's temporary home court, the Atlas Tube Centre in Tecumseh, for Game 4 on Thursday, May 18 and Game 5 on Sunday, May 20. The Express are playing there because of Memorial Cup preparations at the WFCU Centre in Windsor.

Game 5, if necessary, will be at Budweiser Gardens on Tuesday, May 23. A Game 6 would be played at the Atlas Tube Centre.

Should a Game 7 be necessary, it would be at Budweiser Gardens on Saturday, May 27.

All games start at 7pm, except Game 2, which starts at 3pm.
