A fully furnished luxury home, a beach front condo, high-end convertibles, and cold hard cash are all up for grabs in the Dream Home Lottery.
Grand prizes for the lottery in support of the London Health Sciences Centre, Children’s Hospital, and St. Joseph’s Health Care London were unveiled on Friday.
The spring lottery features a choice of a fully furnished Bridlewood Dream Home in north London that comes with a Land Rover convertible in the garage, a three-storey Prespa Dream Condo in Port Stanley with a Jaguar convertible, or $1-million cash.
A new twist to the London home, should the winner choose it, is a cash infusion that would cover the costs of house cleaning, lawn maintenance, groceries, vehicle fuel, and tax payments for a year.
“Exceptional prizes make winning this lottery something to dream about. Knowing that patients and their families win when each ticket is purchased is the reality that makes the dream even better," said Michelle Campbell, president and CEO of St. Joseph’s Health Care Foundation.
Since launching in 1996, the lottery has raised a net total of nearly $29-million in support of London's three hospitals. The money is used for groundbreaking research and state of the art medical equipment.
“Dream Lottery proceeds stay local, to help ensure that everyone in our region has access to the advanced health care resources at the hospitals in London," said John MacFarlane, president and CEO of the London Health Sciences Foundation.
The 50/50 Plus draw has returned with a guaranteed minimum prize of $250,000 and no maximum. Last spring it reached a record $951,870, with the winner getting half.
New this spring is the chance to win thousands of dollars worth of prizes every day in August with the Dollars, Destination & Design Calendar. Every day throughout the month will see draws for gift cards, travel certificates, and cash.
The final deadline for ticket sales for both the Dream Lottery and 50/50 Plus draw is June 22. The grand prize draw for the home and 50/50 will be made on July 12.
