A series of public forums will offer parents, school councils, and home and school associations a chance to give feedback and learn about initiatives within the Thames Valley District School Board (TVDSB).
The TVDSB Trustee Forums will be held in London, Middlesex, Oxford, and Elgin counties over the next two weeks.
According to the board, the forums provide an opportunity for community members to engage with their local trustees, learn about events in their school district, and celebrate and share student success stories.
The first Trustee Forum kicks off at 6:30pm on Wednesday at London South Collegiate Institute on Tecumseh Ave. On Thursday, a forum will be held at Medway Secondary School on Medway Rd. in Arva. Those are followed by two more forums next week, one at West Elgin Secondary School in West Lorne on March 1, and the other at Glendale High School in Tillsonburg on March 2.
The board stresses the forums are not meant to duplicate or be considered part of the Elementary Pupil Accommodation Review (EPAR) public consultation process.
