Venue Change For Trudeau Visit

It appears the South London Community Centre is too small to hold Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the crowds of people who want to see him.

London North Centre MP Peter Fragiskatos says they're changing the venue for Trudeau's visit on Friday because they have been experiencing an "overwhelming demand" from the community.

In order to accommodate the large crowds that are expected, Trudeau's "London Town Hall" visit will now take place at the Carling Heights Optimist Community Centre (CHOCC) at 656 Elizabeth St. in London.

Fragiskatos is also pointing out that because the turnout is expected to be so high, people who RSVP won't be guaranteed a spot inside the venue. They will be offered an advanced sign-in though, which means they will be welcome to come to the venue at 6pm.

The doors open to the general public at 6:30pm.

Anyone planning to attend the event is also encouraged to carpool or use public transit because while there is parking available at the CHOCC, spaces are limited.
