The London Knights downed the Saginaw Spirit 5-1 on Friday at Budweiser Gardens.
The Knights were quick to get on the board in the first period with Sam Miletic scoring just after three minutes into the game. Miletic scored again to close out the first frame and give London a 2-0 lead. Max Jones tacked another goal on for the Knights before Saginaw finally scored to make it on the board just 14 seconds left in the second.
Jones scored his second goal of the night 12 seconds into the third, and JJ Piccinich scored after nine minutes to cap off the win for London.
London goaltender Tyler Johnson made 37 saves out of 38 shots on net.
The Knights travel to Hamilton on Sunday to take on the Bulldogs at 2pm.
