The severe thunderstorm warning from Environment Canada has ended for London, Parkhill, Eastern Middlesex County, Strathroy, Komoka, and Western Middlesex County.
Environment Canada meteorologists were tracking a cluster of severe thunderstorms capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to nickel size hail and heavy rain.
Wind gust of 90 km/h, almost continuous lightning, and torrential downpours giving 25 to 50 mm of rain in an hour or less was predicted with these thunderstorms this evening.
Environment Canada reminds residents that when thunder roars, to stay indoors.
