London's latest lotto winner says he'll be living carefree for a little while.
Adam Sutherland, a delivery driver from London, won $100,000 in the April 20 ENCORE draw.
“I work for a delivery company and I usually buy lottery tickets when I make deliveries in Toronto,” says Sutherland. “I checked my ticket at a gas station in London and froze looking at the screen for 10 seconds. It said, ‘Big Winner - $100,000.’ It almost felt like a dream."
After discovering his lottery win, Sutherland called his mother and girlfriend. Both were in disbelief over the 25-year-old's luck.
"My mom said, ‘No way, you’re lying!’ My girlfriend didn’t believe me either," says Sutherland.
He plans to give some of the money to his father and buy a new Cadillac ATS 4.
The winning ticket was purchased at a gas station in Toronto.
