Four people have been charged after a police investigation led to a large seizure of methamphetamine in Simcoe.
The Ontario Provincial Police says on Thursday around 9:40pm, the OPP Street Crime Unit was on patrol in the area of Robinson St. and Talbot St., when a vehicle and its occupants attracted the officers' attention.
Following an investigation, four people were arrested at a Robinson St. address and a large quantity of meth and Canadian currency were seized.
Michael Charles Traina, 27, of Norfolk County is charged with:
- Possession of methamphetamine.
- Possession of cannabis marijuana.
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking Clonazepam.
- Failing to comply with a probation order.
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine.
- Possession of methamphetamine.
- Possession of cannabis marijuana.
- Driving while under suspension.
- Operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
- Driving a motor vehicle without a validated permit.
- Failing to comply with probation order.
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine.
- Two counts of possession of methamphetamine.
- Possession of methamphetamine (morphine).
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking Clonazepam.
- Possession of cannabis marijuana.
- Possession of hashish.
- Failing to comply with a probation order.
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine.
- Possession of cannabis marijuana.
