The London Lightning used a big performance from their forwards Thursday, edging the Mississauga Power 101-98 at Budweiser Gardens.
The game, which was Mississauga's fourth loss in a row, came down to the wire with a last second shot by the Power's Alex Johnson. The point guard missed the three-pointer, sending the London Lightning to a 9-5 record.
Marvin Phillips lead the Lighting with 31 points, while Emmanuel Little chipped-in 18 points and 14 rebounds.
London will now take on the Brampton A's at the Powerade Centre on Saturday. Their next home game is versus Brampton on December 27.
