Business of the Month: Upper Thames River Conservation Authority

BlackburnNews.com presents the Business of the Month. A chance for us to highlight some of the people and companies that make London thrive.

May’s Business of the Month is The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority.  The key mission of The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority is to inspire a healthy environment. It wants to ensure that Ontario’s rivers, lakes and streams are properly safeguarded and managed. It works to protect, manage and restore Ontario’s woodlands, wetlands and natural habitat.

The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority also develops and maintains programs that will protect life and property from natural hazards such as flooding and erosion. It also provides opportunities for the public to enjoy and learn from Ontario’s natural environment!
