Relatives of Keith White are accusing the the ship's operator, its captain, and the entertainment company that organized the cruise of negligence.

The 34-year-old fell from the "Northern Spirit" on June 13, 2015. He was with his girlfriend and another couple at a private party on the boat when he fell.

His body was found in Humber Bay on July 1.

In a statement sent out by the firm the family says, "We are confused about how Keith could fall off a ship in daylight, surface alert and continue to swim, and yet it appears nothing was done to assist him in a timely manner.”
