Strathroy-Caradoc police have identified the young boy killed in a house fire.
Quinn Derbyshire, 10, died in the fire in his family's home on Melbourne Rd. on Sunday.
He was the middle child of the Derbyshire family. His parents and two brothers escaped the fire. They were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
As the fire burned through the night crews searched for the missing 10-year-old boy.
After an extensive search of the inside of the house, his body was found on Monday night.
Police say the home did have working smoke alarms.
An autopsy has been scheduled and the Ontario Fire Marshal's Office is investigating.
The cause of the deadly blaze has yet to be determined.
