Majors' First Loss of the Season

It took 12 innings for the Brantford Red Sox to hand the London Majors their first loss of the season on Friday night at Labatt Park.

The Sox bounced back from a three-run deficit after three innings to beat the Majors 5-4 and put the first tick in the loss column after seven straight wins.

Chris McQueen and Humberto Ruiz each had a pair of hits. Owen Boon took the loss. Five London pitchers combined for 17 strikeouts.

The Majors now travel to Barrie to take on the Baycats on Sunday afternoon.
