Monday marks the start of London Police Chief Brad Duncan's last week on the job.
He's retiring after 35 years of policing and four years as chief.
Duncan tells Blackburn News he's proud of the work he and his officers did with student groups at Western University and Fanshawe College after the infamous St. Patrick's Day riot three years ago. He also says some of the hardest days on the job came around budget time.

Duncan admits there were stressful times, but he's choosing to focus on the successes as he leaves the job, and his career, behind.
"I've loved this job since day one. It's still the best job that anyone can aspire to be in and if I had to do it all again, I absolutely would. If I had that choice back in 1980 of a career path, I would choose this one again," he says.
Duncan's last day is Friday. Depute Chief John Pare will take over as chief on May 1.
