London Women Charged in Norfolk Investigation

An alert resident helped Norfolk County OPP nab two London women attempting to break into a vehicle in Delhi.

Police got a call from a concerned citizen early Sunday morning about an unknown person getting into a parked vehicle. They were also told that another unknown person had gotten into a separate grey vehicle nearby.

Through a police investigation, a stolen vehicle was recovered along with a large amount of stolen property and drugs.

Destiny Desiree Natalie Wilson, 22, is charged with the following:

  • Possession of break-in instruments
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
  • Possession of Methamphetamine
  • Possession of Temazepam for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of Tetrahydrocannabinol pills
  • Possession of Marihuana
  • Fail to comply with Recognizance X3

Melissa Maye Brown, 26, is charged with:

  • Possession of break in instruments
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
  • Attempt theft of motor vehicle
  • Possession of Marihuana
  • Possession of Methamphetamine
  • Possession of Temazepam for the purpose of trafficking
  • Fail to comply with probation order

The two will appear in a Simcoe court at a later date to answer to the charges.
