May The Best Engineer Win

A group of Canada’s engineers of the future are in London this weekend to fight for the top spot at the 2014 Canadian Engineering Competition.

Western University is hosting the event, that pushes the best and brightest engineering students to suggest solutions to real-world problems.

Competition Co-Chair Michael Zawalsky says today senior students will present their plans to a problem they were presented with a year ago.

The presentation and testing is open to the public.

Zawalsky says he hopes Londoners will come out to hear their pitches and appreciate engineering.

The presentations run from 8:30am-3pm on Saturday at the Spencer Engineering Building. The public is welcome.
