I’m so very sorry to hear of this accident, however, a person gets fatality injured on a scooter in a small town and everyone is up in arms. What about the NUMEROUS fatalities that have occurred this summer with motorcycles vs cars. I still need to ask, when are the laws going to change so that ‘I didn’t see him/her’ not going to hold water any longer.
Since this is being deemed as a criminal investigation at this point, there’s obviously more to the story than someone being hit on a scooter, however, the amount of fury this created yesterday should be how everyone looks at accidents of car vs motorcycle, scooter etc.
    Just my personal opinion.
