The LHSC is adding another Influenza ‘A’ outbreak to the list.

An Alert Level Two Outbreak has been called for the 7th floor inpatient unit at Victoria Hospital.

That means two or more patients have tested positive for the flu.

Those patients have been placed in private rooms and their families have been notified.

Workers are also cleaning the rooms twice a day.

No new patients will be admitted to the unit until the outbreak has ended.

On Wednesday the LHSC declared a Level Two Influenza Outbreak for the Neurological Sciences Unit at Univesity Hospital.
