Police have charged a Chatham man with break and enter.

Officials say the a entered a bunk house under construction at 162 Bloomfield Rd. in Chatham on January 17. There he cut and removed electrical components causing over $5,000 in damage.

A 27-year-old was charged in connection with the break and enter on Wednesday.

A 20-year-old Chatham man has been charged with eight counts of failing to comply after he allegedly broke conditions not to speak with his ex-girlfriend.

In November, the man was arrested and charged with four sexual-related offences, but police allege that he continued communicating with his ex-girlfriend.

He was charged on Wednesday.
