A 66-year-old Chatham man has been charged with a number of firearm related offences, following a domestic disturbance.

Police say on Friday night around 9pm, officers were called to a home in Chatham.

During an argument, the man allegedly pointed a firearm at his common-law wife, threatening to kill her.

Police later found out that there have been many offences that had gone unreported.

The Chatham man is facing several charges, including firearm related offences, uttering death threats, and three counts of assault.

Two Chatham men have been arrested for allegedly stealing a scooter.

On Friday morning police were called to Colborne St. in Chatham, regarding a located scooter that had been reported stolen in early December.

Police later identified and arrested a 37-year-old man and a 25-year-old man.  Both men have been charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000.
