Police have arrested a Chatham man after complaints about erratic driving Friday.

Police say they found a man parked in the driveway of a McNaughton Ave W home.

Witnesses say several vehicles had to swerve out of the way to avoid hitting the car in question. Police add the suspect almost hit a parked car.

While police say the man wasn’t under the influence of alcohol, he was showing clear signs of impairment.

Now a 53-year-old Chatham man is charged with Impaired Driving by Drugs. He’s been released with a future court date.

Chatham-Kent Police made in arrest in connection with a man sleeping in a complaintant’s vehicle.

Police attended the residence on Oak St in Tilbury Friday, finding the suspect had a warrant for his arrest for Possession of Stolen Property.

A 26-year-old man is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
