Ritch Kanally has resigned as the General Manager of the Wallaceburg Lakers.
Kanally, who has been with the team for three seasons, says he's stepping down because of family health issues.
"I would like to thank the Lakers entire organization, board, fans, sponsors, staff, and in particular the players," he said in a statement issued Thursday. ""I have enjoyed my time in the PJHL but for family reasons have decided to return home to spend more time with my father for the time being. I am, and will continue to be a big supporter of the Lakers and the PJHL going forward and wish them both nothing but success."
