The Dresden Kings defeated the Wallaceburg Lakers 10-2 Wednesday night.
Dresden lead the game strong with four consecutive goals in the first period. Wallaceburg then swooped in with two goals, but Dresden secured their win in the second period with another four goals before adding two more in the third.
Geoffrey VandenBoorn led the way for the Kings, scoring a hat trick and adding two assist for a five-point night.
Dresden goalie Cody Hitchcock saved all but two of Wallaceburg's shots, making 27 saves for the win.
Wallaceburg heads to Dresden to play the Kings again on Friday.
