The Wallaceburg Lakers won their PJHL home opener, getting by the Dresden Kings 5-3.
Dresden was leading 3-1 early in the second period thanks to two powerplay goals from Kevin Ritzer.
But the Lakers offense came alive late in the second. Zachery Hartig scored twice to lead Wallaceburg to their first win of the season.
Josh Loranger made 20 saves to pick up the win.
Wallaceburg if off until next Wednesday when they host Lakeshore. Dresden is back in action Friday when they host Essex.
