JV Cougars Dominate North Halton

The Junior Varsity Chatham-Kent Cougars are still perfect on the season.

Their latest win was over the North Halton Crimson Tide on Saturday -- the final score was 53-7.

Darion Bacik-Hadden and Jonathan Cartier both looked dominant on offence, combining for all seven of the Cougars' TDs in the game. Bacik-Hadden ran two in and threw for two more while Cartier ran in two of his own and threw one in as well.

Cameron Creechan's leg got a lot of work, too. He went 6/7 on his PATs and also kicked a 15-yard field goal.

On the defensive side, Lucas Doyle was a nightmare for the opposing QB, registering two sacks and seven solo tackles.

The JV Cougars will head to Brantford for their next game on Sunday, July 2.

He's one of four goaltenders that have been invited to take part in the Tampa Bay Lightning's 2017 Development Camp that will be held from June 27 - July 1 at the Brandon Ice Sports Forum in Florida.
