For the second year in a row, the Pittsburgh Penguins are Stanley Cup champions.
It's also the second year in a row that captain Sidney Crosby was awarded the Conn Smythe trophy as the playoff MVP.
The Penguins clinched the championship with a 2-0 win in Game 6 against the Predators in Nashville Sunday night.
Pittsburgh is the first team to win back-to-back Stanley Cups since the Detroit Red Wings completed that feat back in 1997-1998.
Penguins forward Patric Hornqvist scored the game-winner with less than two minutes left in regulation time, breaking a scoreless tie. Carl Hagelin added an empty-netter for Pittsburgh and Matt Murray made 27 saves for the shutout.
Sidney Crosby was held without a point in the final game, but still led all players with seven points in the Cup Final. He's just the third player in NHL history to win back-to-back Conn Smythe trophies.
