The Blenheim Blades have parted ways with their head coach.
New General Manager Lonnie Hamilton officially notified Ken Shine of his release Sunday morning.
Hamilton says he "wants to move in a new direction" and "wants to hire a coach of his choosing and vision."
Hamilton is leaving the door open for the assistant coaches if they wish to return.
