Spitfires Have Stranglehold On Knights

The Windsor Spitfires can eliminate the London Knights from the playoffs Friday night.

The Spits lead the series three games to one.

Assistant Coach Trevor Letowski says it should be a tough game.

“Obviously guys are feeling good about themselves but like you said, they’re a good hockey team and they’re going to be tough to put away,” says Letowski.

Letowski says the goal is to score first and take Knights fans out of the game early because the Knights are ‘fragile’ right now.

Game five is in London Friday night.

Letowski says his guys must keep their cool.

He says “try to keep them as calm as we possibly can and go business as usual and stick to our structure and hopefully something falls.”

Letowski says the Spits must be at their best Friday night to win.

“The fourth win is always the toughest, especially with this team. They have a lot of pride and it’s built to win. They’re not gonna want to go away easily,” Letowski says.
