Maroons Head Coach Ron Horvat says his team was showing their intensity right off the bat.

"London [and] Chatham -- I'm sure it's a rivalry there forever, and you could tell right off the hop it was like that," he says. "I think it's only going to get heated more as the series goes on."

Despite the loss, London outshot Chatham 32-29.

The two teams will face off in London for Game 2 on Saturday at 7:30pm.
