Big Home Weekend For Spitfires

The Windsor Spitfires are kicking off three games in four days at the WFCU Centre against Guelph tonight.

Associate Coach Trevor Letowski says it's a lot of hockey, but at least it's at home.

"It seems like we've played a lot on the road here, early in the season," he says. "Our guys have played really well at home and we hope to continue that with a big weekend coming."

The Spits have won five of their last six games, including two wins against the Storm by a combined score of 9-1.

Windsor forward Logan Brown sat out of the CHL's Canada-Russia game at the WFCU Centre this week, due to injury, but Letowski's hoping he'll be ready to play tonight.

The Spitfires round out the weekend playing Owen Sound on Saturday night and Niagara, Sunday afternoon.
