Letowski Keeping Expectations High

New Spitfires Associate Coach Trevor Letowski's getting ready for life in Windsor.

The former NHL'er and Sarnia Sting coach made his first visit to the WFCU Centre last week.

Letowski believes there's a lot of young, high-end talent on the Spits' roster, which he plans to get the most out of. "For me and Rocky (Thompson) and the coaching staff, we want to surprise people. We want to win hockey games now and I think that's the goal. We want to come in, and whatever the expectation is out there, we want to be better than that."

Letowski plans to move his family down from Thunder Bay before training camp starts in August. He'll also be doing some work as an assistant coach for Team Canada (Black) at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge before Windsor's camp kicks off.
