Canada's 19U Women Fall To France

Chatham's Bridget Carleton had another impressive stat line, but Canada took a 58-54 loss to France in FIBA 19U Championship group play.

Carleton had 14 pts, 6 rebounds and added 4 assists in the contest. Lauren Yearwood led all Canadian scorers with 17.

Canada trailed France most of the game, but made things interesting near the end, outscoring their opposition 19-12 in the fourth quarter.

Next for Canada is another group stage game against Belgium Tuesday 1:30pm local time.
