There will be a heavy police presence in Pain Court this week during the International Plowing Match and Rural Expo.
Heavy traffic is expected on roads such as Bear Line Road, Winterline Road, Maple Line, Pain Court Line and Creek Line. Drivers are being reminded to obey the speed limit signs in the area and to be aware of the activities going on. --------
A 47-year-old Chatham man is in trouble with the law after allegedly threatening a woman.
Police said the 47-year-old went to the woman's home on Saturday night when he allegedly made the threat.
The man was arrested Monday and is now charged with uttering threats. He has a court date set for October 9.

Chatham-Kent police are investigating a couple of unrelated break-ins that happened over the weekend.
In Chatham, about $5,000 worth of tools were reported stolen from a business on Park Avenue West. Officers said the tools were inside of company vehicles that were parked inside a fenced compound.
In Wallaceburg, a red Toro weed eater and green Ryobi edger attachment were reported stolen from an unlocked shed on William Street.
