Multiple Thefts

Chatham-Kent police are investing a couple of thefts and need the public's assistance for one of them.

A man allegedly saw two men stealing property at his workplace in Wallaceburg Saturday morning.

According to police the incident happened around 6:30 a.m., on Old Glass Rd.

Officers said the two suspects fled the area in their vehicle but were located shortly after and arrested for theft and possession.

Police added one of the males was also arrested on an outstanding warrant.

The other theft occurred Friday night at a garage on Park Ave. W.

Police said about $2,500 of musical instruments were stolen. The investigation is ongoing.

Break and Enter

Police responded to a break and enter at Links of Kent golf course Saturday night.

Officer said there are no suspects at this time and the investigation is ongoing.

Impaired Driving 

Police received a driving complaint about an erratic driver in the Gray St. and Lorne Ave. area in Chatham just before 11 p.m. Saturday night.

Officers said they located the vehicle and arrested the 31-year-old male for impaired driving.  He was later released from custody with a future court date, according to police.
