Environment Canada has lifted the severe thunderstorm warning for Chatham-Kent.
The warning was issued around 2:30pm Friday afternoon and ended just after 4:30pm.
Meteorologists were tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing strong wind gusts, pea to dime size hail and torrential rain.
Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are likely to produce or are producing one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.
