Police Pull Impaired Teen Boater Off The Water

If you're pulled off of the water for drinking and boating, you could have your driver's licence suspended.

That's the message from Chatham-Kent OPP after they stopped a teen boater on Lake St. Clair over the weekend.

Officers say they took an 18-year-old woman back to police headquarters after she failed a roadside test at around 5:30pm Sunday.

Police say they stopped her because she was allegedly trying to evade officers who were out on the water conducting vehicle inspections.

Officers say they suspended the woman's driver's licence for three days after conducting some further tests.
