Two Kids In Critical Condition After Thamesville Crash

Chatham-Kent police say two children are in critical condition at a London hospital following Friday's collision in Thamesville.

Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle collision on Grove Mills Lane at Brick Rd. in Thamesville on Friday just after 5pm.

Police say a car with one person inside crashed into a van with ten occupants. All eleven people, including eight children and three adults, were taken to hospital.

According to Constable Douglas Littlewood, two of the children are being treated in London for serious injuries. Police say the two are in critical condition, but stable.

Littlewood says for privacy reasons, he won't be giving any further description of the passengers.

The Traffic Unit has taken over the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Constable Dan Clark at danielc@chatham-kent.ca or 519-355-1092.
