Man And Woman Charged With Breaching Conditions

A 32-year-old Ridgetown man was allegedly found hiding in a woman's bathroom Thursday night and was charged for breaching release conditions.

According to police, the charges stemmed from an incident on May 3 in which the man was released from court with conditions not to communicate with the woman or be at her home in Thamesville.

Police said the man has been charged with two counts of failing to comply and has been held in custody pending a bail hearing. Officers added the woman was charged with facilitating a breach and will appear in court on July 10.

Man Arrested from Wanted List

Police said another man was charged with failing to comply with a court order and has been arrested for allegedly skipping out on court.

According to police, the man entered into a probation order with a condition not to communicate with a specific woman. The man was allegedly found by police in a Chatham home talking with the woman.

On May 30, the man allegedly failed to attend court and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Thursday afternoon, police said they located and arrested the man.

Police said the 38-year-old man from Chatham was transported to the Courthouse pending a bail hearing.

Man Charged with Theft

A man who allegedly stole medication from a woman's home a week ago was found and charged by police.

Thursday morning, police said they located and arrested the 51-year-old. Officers added he has been charged with being unlawfully in a dwelling house, theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by a crime.

Police said he was released pending a future court date on July 13.

Man Arrested on Outstanding Warrants

Police said they have located and charged a man who allegedly stole $100 of meat from the Blenheim Sobey's.

According to a police release, he was arrested and charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by a crime.

Police added the man was also arrested on outstanding warrants for similar property related offences and failing to comply.

The release said the 31-year-old Blenheim man was transported to the courthouse pending a bail hearing.
