Man Breaches Conditions With Bike Ride

A 33-year-old Chatham man is in trouble with the law after he allegedly rode his bicycle past a residence he was ordered to stay away from.

Police say the man was released from court with several conditions back in April, one of which was that he wasn't supposed to come within 100 m of a specific residence in Chatham.

Officers say despite that order, the man was allegedly seen biking directly in front of the residence on June 13 and again on June 14.

Police say he was arrested last night and is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
