Provincial Liberal Candidate Promises Change In Lambton-Kent-Middlesex

The provincial Liberals finally have a candidate running in the riding of Lambton-Kent-Middlesex.

His name is Ryan O'Hagan and he lives in Cambridge.

He says he's been involved in political campaigns since 2003 but this is his first time running for a seat at Queen's Park. O'Hagan says he wants to make a difference in the riding.

"How do we make life more affordable and acceptable to all people in that community?" says O'Hagan.

O'Hagan says he wants to focus on issues like health and education.

"Looking at things like nursing, education and healthcare. Those are some of my key areas," he says.

O'Hagan says it's time for a change in the riding but won't run a smear campaign.

"I don't think that's the proper way to run politics. I don't think that's what voters and people living in the community need to hear. I'm going to run on facts and policy," O'Hagan says.

O'Hagan grew up in Strathroy.

Monte McNaughton is the Conservative incumbent and Todd Case is representing the NDP.

The provincial election is June 7.
