Ontario PC Leader Doug Ford will be making several stops in Chatham-Kent Friday as he tries to rally support in the southwest ahead of the provincial election in June.
His day kicks off with a meet and greet from 9am to 10am at the Quality Inn on Christina St. N in Point Edward. He'll be joined there by Sarnia-Lambton PC MPP Bob Bailey.
Following that stop, Ford will join Lambton-Kent-Middlesex PC MPP Monte McNaughton at the Country Style coffee and donut shop on Dufferin Ave. in Wallaceburg at 12:30pm.
The PC leader's final stop of the day is a scheduled rally at the John D. Bradley Centre on Richmond St. in Chatham with McNaughton and Chatham-Kent Essex PC MPP Rick Nicholls.
The "Rally for a Better Ontario" event in Chatham is set to run from 6pm to 8pm.
