The weather may be dreary, but flowers are blooming in the community.
The 18th annual Chatham Sunrise "Roses for Rotary" campaign has raised $13,000, which is $3,000 more than what was raised in 2017.
The announcement was made Wednesday morning. The 1,250 dozen roses will be delivered throughout the day.

The campaign has come a long way in the past 18 years, as the first year raked in about $200.
The campaign has raised more than $200,000 over the last 18 years.
Funds raised will go towards several community projects, like the new Children's Treatment Centre building.
