A St. Catherines man is in custody in Chatham pending a bail hearing after he was arrested on Tuesday.

The 25-year-old was arrested back in 2013 and released with a court date in 2014, but never showed up.

A warrant was issued, but the man wasn’t apprehended until this week in St. Catherines.

Not showing up to court has landed a Blenheim man behind bars.

Police say the man was charged and released last summer, but didn’t show up to his court date last month.

The 35-year-old was arrested yesterday and taken to the courthouse, pending a bail hearing.

A 24-year-old man has been charged with failing to comply after he didn’t report to his Probation Officer.

The man was released from custody on Sunday after he was charged with stealing a vehicle, possession of stolen property, and breach of probation.

However, he never reported to his Probation Officer the next day.

He was arrested early Wednesday morning in Blenheim and is being held pending a bail hearing.
