The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance is looking for nurses.
It will hold a job fair on Tuesday, March 6 from 2pm-5pm at the John D. Bradley Convention Centre.
"We just really want to encourage any nurses from Southwestern Ontario to attend," says Lisa Northcott, vice president and chief nursing executive. "Whether you're a new nurse or a nurse that's been working for a long time, or actually a nurse that's going to be graduating in the near future. We encourage you to come and see what we have to offer."
Northcott says they have openings in most of their departments at both campuses in Chatham and Wallaceburg.
"Women and children, our intensive care, our medicine unit, our emergency units. And we're looking for RNs, RPNs, and nurse practitioners," she says.
Northcott says they like hosting a job fair so they can meet people face to face.
"That personalized approach is really good," she says. "It gives people that are attending a chance to see what we have to offer and to talk to our managers and some of our frontline staff to really get an idea about what the work culture is like at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance."
Any nurses who are unable to attend the job fair can submit a resume online through the CKHA website.
