Police say a barely-clothed Wallaceburg man was arrested for disturbing the peace.

According to police, officers were called to a disturbance in an apartment hallway.

Upon arrival, police found a man wearing very little clothing and a leash, while carrying a pocket knife.

Police say the man was intoxicated and would not cooperate with officers trying to help him, so he was arrested for disturbing the peace.

He was held in custody until sober.

Chatham-Kent police are investigating after a Chatham home was broken into.

Police say between Friday and Saturday in the Water St. area of Chatham, an unknown person broke the window of a front door, unlocked it, and went into the residence.

According to police, the suspect stole a 32” Panasonic TV, a 32” Toshiba TV, a space heater, and an HP 5” laptop. Police say the suspect tried a second door in the same area but was unsuccessful.
