Traffic Stop Leads to Three Arrests

Chatham-Kent police have arrested three men after a vehicle was stolen in Windsor.

The men were arrested on Lorne Ave. near Raleigh St. in Chatham when an officer spotted the vehicle and stopped it late Tuesday afternoon.

Two Chatham men, 36 and 17, and a 16-year-old from Windsor are charged with possession of stolen property. The 16-year-old Windsor man was also charged with driving a vehicle without a license and using unauthorized plates.

Radar Detector Detected

Chatham-Kent OPP have busted a 31-year-old Ohio man after he was allegedly caught with a radar detector.

The traffic stop happened on Hwy. 401 near Scane Rd. Sunday morning.

Drunk Man Walks Into Police HQ

A 54-year-old man has been charged with public intoxication after he fell asleep in the front lobby of Chatham-Kent police headquarters.

Police say he walked in on Tuesday at around 6pm and fell asleep on one of the chairs. An officer noticed that he was unsteady on his feet and unable to care for himself due to drunkenness and held him until he sobered up.

Utility Vehicle Stolen

Chatham-Kent police are still looking for whoever stole a 2015 John Deere Utility Vehicle.

Investigators say an unknown suspect entered a construction site north of Chatham November 7 and removed the $20,000 vehicle.

Police say the vehicle has serial number 1M0825GFHFM102074.
