Drug Arrests

Two arrests have been made after a drug bust in Blenheim.

Officers searched a home on Talbot Trail on Tuesday and seized marijuana, methamphetamine, cannabis resin, prescription medication, ammunition, and electronics worth over $6,500.

Police say the two homeowners, a 56-year-old Blenheim man and a 57-year-old Blenheim woman, are charged with drug possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of stolen property. Authorities say the male suspect has a life time ban from possessing ammunition and was charged with more offences.

Break and Enter

Chatham-Kent police are searching for suspects after a break and enter in Wallaceburg.

Police say between January 15 and January 16 someone entered two vehicles parked in a driveway and an unlocked detached garage on Water St. and took various items, loose change, and tools estimated at $1,000.
