Chatham was colder than Windsor overnight but it wasn't cold enough to break a record low set 100 years ago.
Environment Canada Meteorologist Peter Kimbell says it got down to -22 C at the Chatham airport overnight. But that didn't break the record low for December 28, set in 1917 when the temperature dipped down to -28.9 C.
Windsor broke a record low. Kimbell says the overnight low at the Windsor Airport was -20.2 C, snapping a record set in 1950 of -17.8 C.
